As the United Colonies of Mankind look on, their enemies circle and wait for the ideal opportunity to strike. Today we see the launch of three new plastic battleship boxes for Dropfleet Commander with a variety of updated and new ships for the Shaltari, PHR, and Bioficers. Of course, it's worth noting that just because the PHR is no longer members of the Triumvirate, they'd never turn their infamous broadsides on the UCM right?

The Post Human Republic’s Grand Fleet flies the toughest and most advanced battleships yet built by mankind, and they are always innovating. The latest examples are sleeker, more modular designs. Their miniaturised, hyper-efficient core systems have enlarged internal spaces enough to allow for supercarrier variants. Also, an expanded power matrix allows them to accommodate Energy Glaive broadsides previously only seen aboard dreadnoughts. Other cutting-edge technologies, such as massive nanomachine hives, are also appearing. 

Inside the new PHR Battleship box you'll find a finely crafted plastic ship sprue that can be assembled in a variety of fashions. Whilst you can assembled updated versions of previously released ships such as the Heracles and the Minos, we believe commanders will be drawn to the Super Battleships. These previously unreleased ships are truly awesome and resilient battleships. Taking centre stage on the product's packaging is the Octavius Super Battleship which is a 310pt flying fortress equipped with Heavy Calibre Triple Broadsides, Neutron Missiles, and the Dark Matter Cannon. 

Possibly the most advanced race in the entire Commander Universe, nobody truly knows the age or origins of the Shaltari. Whilst the average UCM soldier loves to downplay the threat posed by these stunted aliens, they are master ship builders.  Shaltari battleships are among the most feared vessels in known space. They are spectacularly advanced and unfathomably ancient—the oldest has
apparently plied the stars for over ten millennia. Worryingly, this does not seem to dim the alien’s ability to innovate. New variants are appearing with increasing frequency, and the Shaltari only commit such awesome talismans of their power when they are in dire purpose. Also, some appear to be freshly constructed or refitted with new and eldritch weaponry, both prow armaments and broadsides. 

Most impressive all of todays plastic Shaltari plastic battleships may just be the Lanthanum Super Battleship, which is possibly the longest battleship in game. Besides its impressive size, this variant utilizes a Particle Lance Triad, Mega Thermal Lance Cannon, and Status Broadsides. Yet you may wish to build the pictured Actinium Super Battleship with its Gravitic Beamer. Thankfully this set contains several new ships for you to choose from.

The latest faction to enter the commander universe, the Bioficer's are threat humanity is still trying to grasp. Many of you will already be familiar with their ships but this unwavering invader has begun to launch a new kind of ship. Bioficer battleships are a whispered nightmare among UCM captains, and rare survivor testaments are cause for extreme concern. These leviathans leave only carnage in their wake and are among the most potent known ships of battleship tonnage, including the latest super variants. Current theory suggests that the enemy’s most fiendish intellects use these mighty chariots as command vessels, given the gleeful viciousness of their actions so far.

The Binder Super Battleship could be the most deadly Bioficer vessel to have seen combat. An incredibly effective tool of death, this monster is equipped with the Gravitic Lance, Scythes, and Thermator. Additionally, you'll find Boarding Pods whilst some UCM commanders believe reports of some Binder's being further upgraded with Torpedos. Just one of a plethora of new Bioficer ships, this plastic set can be assembled in a variety of fashions.

 After Vlad’s attack on San Servolo, a new wing of the Opsedale opened under Dr Lucieta Bollani, with the purpose of perfecting blood studies. What could be achieved by combining blood-particularly Strigoi blood, and madness energy.

The Unholy Union was only a prelude to what the Doctors of Blood might be capable of creating. Initial results have greatly helped the Necromancy wing of San Servolo. By using the Elixir of Death gained from extracting blood from the captured Strigoi Elsebeth, test subjects have been able to regrow limbs as well as give undead life to corpses, creating ghoulish hollowmen.  

The latest gang box for Carnevale Miniatures game, Blood Studies contains the always vile Doctor of Blood who works to combine blood and madness energies into a powerful tool. Supported by his Apprentice they are protected from harm by two nightmarish Ghouls. Finally the good doctors have seen fit to bring forth a Shackled Feaster! Once a patient forced to use the Elixir of Death, they are now a monster. Capable of re-growing limbs, each time a part is regrown, the patient falls deeper into madness. To keep them contained and responsive to orders they wear a shock collar. Available to pre-order for £30.
