The year is 2679. After 172 years, the United Colonies of Mankind has finally brought its Reconquest to Earth. Evicted and scattered by the parasitic race known as the Scourge, humanity has regrouped, rearmed, allied, and retaken some of what was lost. The campaign hands upon a knife edge. Constant raids by the enigmatic Shaltari and the splintering of alliances have left mankind vulnerable. Now a new enemy has appeared, the Bioficers, digital intellects, and master fleshcrafters. They revel in war and see in humanity an adversary that can satisfy their insatiable bloodlust. Dropfleet Commander is a competitive tactical, dynamic tabletop game for two or more players. It is an orbital combat game where fleets of might, lavishly detailed spaceship miniatures battle above the surface of a war-torn planet.
